"Toland," she said. "I regret that I don't know you, either. Though mayhaps I knew one of your kin since your face is familiar to me. May I know your name?"
Eleyna continued to smile at the young girl. She reached for the grapes and ate one before offering the bowl to Myranda.

"I am Myranda Allyrion, and I believe you were wed to uncle Lucas before his death." she said, blatantly and looked at Elenya for her response with big eyes. "Uncle Lucas looked very little like me though, I think, seeing as we take after our father, though I have his eyes, mayhaps?" She suggested, shrugging elegantly.

Emelia yawned, and said, "This conversation has taken such a dark turn, perhaps another subject matter."

Eleyna could not speak for a whie. The old grief for Lucas speared through her, as it did whenever he was mentioned. He'd been gone seven years but she loved him still and believed she always would.
"Yes, I think you do," she agreed, when she could speak. "But I think I might have met you briefly when you were a little girll. At my wedding feast, mayhaps. We'd hardly have taken much notice of one another, then. I had eyes only for Lucas. He was a good man, your uncle, so I am pleased to meet you for his sake."

"I doubt that, I must have been three when you married him, but the pleasure is all mine, I am sure." she said, smiling at the response she got and looked back to Emelia, "Death isn't dark," she commented, still smiling, "It's natural, but yes, it is hardly pleasant conversation. May I ask why you've asked us all here, My Princess?"

"You may ask, but it is far to boring a question to answer." She clapped her hands, "Let us do something fun instead. I would a love a swim in the garden's pond." She wound an arm through each of theirs, and started leading them toward the middle of the garden.

Eleyna went willingly. She had always liked to swim and the waters of Dorne was usually warm.
"A pity there are no handsome men to swim with us," she japed.

"I can ask my brother and uncle Mathyw if you would like," Myranda said, laughing a little, "Marq loves swimming." she said, going as well, hoping she wouldn't have to get her dress wet, she had only just put it on.
"A swim would be very refreshing, it such a warm day." she said, though being by the sea had provided a cool breeze they didn't get in the middle of the desert.

Emelia laughed, and shook her head, "I always feel exposed with a man's eyes on my body as I swim. The lewd thoughts I know he must be thinking."

"Well, you just think lwed thoughts about him," Eleyna retorted with a laugh. "Oh, it's been so long since I had a man. I feel quite forlorn. I'd gladly have a man staring lewdly at me so long as he was handsome and charming. I should not mind if Lady Myranda's brother and uncle came to watch us. Though she might, I suppose. That wouldn't be fair on you, Myranda."

"They're my family, Elenya." Myranda said laughing, "Mathyw, maybe, but Marq and I swim together in all the time, it's never been a problem. Don't you feel at ease with your siblings?" She asked, and shook her head, "It matters not anyway, our host does not with them here so they shall have to go without." she went on, grinning at Emelia.

"I would not care for it." Emelia replied sharply, "Not when I was so looking forward to a pleasant swim with just the three of us."

Eleyna shrugged.
"I never minded swimming with my brothers when I was a young girl, but I would not do it now I am a woman grown. I did swim off the coastwith my late husband, but a husband is very different to a brother."
She sighed sadly because she could guess what the princess wanted only too well and it didn't match her own wants.

"Maybe it's because we're twins," she said offhandedly, shrugging again.

Emelia sighed, and glanced at her consort, "All this talks of men and their muscles makes me feel like I am about to swim with a couple of gossiping servants, then two of my own ladies." Emelia stops at the edge of the pond, and slowly, she began to remove her clothes.
