Typical, we have a great general and I have him locked up. Pah! Admiral's are better anyway I had Lord Harlaw as my 'battle advisor' so I hope he's at least Master at it or he's fired EDIT: I notice 13 is blank - deliberate?

It says those generals are grandmasters of battle. Does that mean battle and tactics are essentially the same thing? Because Cole has both.

When you defined them Cole clearly you thought they were different. What were your definitions of the words?

When you defined them Cole clearly you thought they were different. What were your definitions of the words? I figured tactics was what would make a good general, and battle was kind of how capable you were in the middle of a big battle, whether you were experienced and would keep a cool head or not.

I think we have used battle as a synomin for tactics.
So make battle, battle fighting to differentiate.

"Command" is a good one for leadership on the field, "Strategy" for devising a warplan.

Just a question, I used "warfare" in my character sheet to reflect the practice and execution of war. So how to deploy forces and execute strategy etc. Should I have used a different term?

That sounds fine to me. A lot of times skills have different names but the same use, or are more specialized.
