Edric arrived at the party, his hair slightly messy, and he looked like he had been recently woken instead of having actually prepared himself for the gathering. He was further confused upon seeing the few guests and felt like Lyssandra had deliberately planned this party in such manner, regardless of what she had told him at the Dragonpit.
He approached the three, but also took note of the man devouring food at one of the scarce tables. He identified the red-haired man as Lord Tully, but had little idea who the other one might have been. "Princess. Lord Tully," he greeted with a nod.

Evan sat with a glass of wine, watching the small group of guest mingle together. He smirked at his sister's obvious attempt at making everyone as uncomfortable as she could, it was evident that most of those in this room would not be able to deal with the heat of Dornish lands.

A corner of Edric's mouth twitched at the formality. "War and conquests," he agreed, although he did not really have any glorious war tales to tell, considering he had only been there for the last battle and hadn't even made it to the castle. "What do you consider your greatest moment?" he inquired.

As he watched the guests, he saw the young wolf talking to his sister. It had been presented him that they had been having many conversations together. Evan being a practical man never took much stock into the claims of some possible.. Affections between them. Sipping his wine, he grinned but he knew his little sister very well and those rumors were what they were just rumors.
The servant passed him and he grabbed something to eat. This was Lyssa's affair, he didn't want to interfer, not this time.

"Surviving," she said without having to think much about it at all. There was hardly any use for glory in her mind, except as a tool for using fools if they wanted to die first. "And I only puked twice."

Lyssandra looked to the newcomer and bowed her head, "As I was saying to Lord Harold, I wanted to capture the essence of Dorne. The humble nature. Sometimes it is known for being extravagant and very um, colourful. Northmen live in the very cold, and the Dornish live in very hot climates, without water and sometimes with little shade." She looked at the two men, "I am not very good at ...party..planning..so I had to represent what I thought of Dorne." "Well you have certainly done that." replied Gareth to Lyssandra with a grin. "It is fortunate that I like the heat. However it might be a little overwhelming for some others." His glance flickered around the other people standing nearby. A couple he knew by sight, but others were unknown to him. "Perhaps we should make some introductions." he said loudly enough for them all to hear. "I am Gareth. Gareth Hightower."

"Edric Stark," said Edric, extending a hand. "My little brother once squired for Lord Gwayne. Is he your brother or perhaps a cousin?" he guessed, having a vague idea.

Gareth shook Edric's hand warmly. "Well met Edric Stark. I am Lord Gwayne's next eldest brother." he said for clarification. "Until he sires legitimate offspring, I guess that makes me his heir." He gave a bark of laughter. "If that means anything."

Lyssandra felt a little lost at this point, she wanted to interject that Edric was her friend, someone she knew for a long time now, the same with Lord Tully, but she just stood there quietly. "Good to meet you Ser, I think I have made the acquaintance of your Lord brother a few times."

Jennalynn arrived at the Martell gathering, dressed in a simple red gown without any embellishments. She walked up to the hostess and curtsied deeply.
"I thank you for the invitation, Lady Martell, and I'd like to offer House Martell a gift from the Vale and House Royce" she said and offered a basket filled with scented candles of different sized and colors.

A woman in a dark cloak arrives and glances around, hoping to see Prince Evan. As Evan sat in his viewing spot, eating and drinking in silence he noticed the woman in the cloak, walking around in the room, it was if she was trying not to be noticed. He left his seat and walked over, thinking of the incident he had heard about at the Baratheon party. He approached, lightly touching her arm not knowing who she was, but his small dagger was poised. He would protect his sister, if it came to that.

She jumped back in shock, her hair flying back from her face as she did so. Her face was familiar, as was her cry of shock. "My lord! Don't startle a lady so."
But then recognition came and she smiled at him. "Prince Martell?" I was rather hoping to find you tonight."

But then recognition came and she smiled at him. "Prince Martell?" I was rather hoping to find you tonight." In his surprise, Evan slid the small blade back in the sheath he kept on his back. "My Lady Rhysling... I.. I do apologize." He felt sheepish but he in these times, he felt the need to be precautious. He grinned,"You are not what or who I expected..." His eyebrows raised in surprise at her remark,"You were hoping to find me? Forgive if I am at a loss..." Chuckling again in surprise and embarrassment. "May I get you a drink?"
